Malmö, one of Sweden’s most successful football clubs, celebrated a well-deserved triumph with Emelie part of the team, securing the top spot in the league. Well done Emelie.👏👏👏
Fylde Women Start FA Cup Campaign with a Bang In the Adobe Women’s FA Cup, Fylde Women cruised to a 7-1 victory against Darlington Women. Grace Osvath was on the scoresheet, contributing one of the seven goals in this dominant performance. Meanwhile, defender Sanchez was subbed on in the 43rd minute and played a solid game. Fylde’s commanding performance now sees them through to the next round, making them a team to watch as they continue their FA Cup journey.
Mancunian Unity’s Historic FA Cup Victory Mancunian Unity made history by advancing to the FA Cup 1st round for only the second time in their history, following a thrilling 3-1 win against Leeds United. Celeste Gordon was instrumental in the victory, providing two key assists to help her team secure the win. Unity now looks ahead with excitement as they await their next FA Cup challenge!
Carlos Dos Santos Helps Newcastle Town Earn a Draw Carlos Dos Santos put in a strong performance for Newcastle Town, assisting their goal in a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Bootle. Although Newcastle were hoping for a win after back-to-back victories, the team saw the result as a fair outcome after a tough battle. Dos Santos continues to be a key player for Newcastle as they push for more points in the league. The following weekend Dos Santos played the full 90 minutes for Newcastle town in 0-0 draw against Hanley town. Their next chance to win 3 points to move themselves up in the league will be Tuesdays match against Witton Albion.
Draw for Devin Snyder and Glossop North End Midfielder Devin Snyder was in action for Glossop North End in their 2-2 draw against Longridge Town. Both teams battled hard, but neither could find the winning edge in a closely contested match. Then next weekend Devin Snyder subbed for Glossop north end in their 1st round of FA Vase Vs Sandbach United.
Basit Yusuff and Harry Lukatome both featured in the starting line-up, but despite their efforts, the team couldn’t avoid defeat. IFG student-athletes Zea Anderson, Courtney Farnworth and Rhianna Farnworth on starting lineup for Macclesfield Women’s Reserves in their 2-1 victory against Nantwich in the Cheshire women’s league. 👏👏
Coach Kenyon plays full 90 minutes in dominant victory. Bamber Bridge and Alex Kenyon suffered their first defeat of the Northern Premier League season, falling 3-2 to Basford United. Despite the setback, the team rebounded strongly the following weekend with a commanding 4-0 victory over FC United with 854 people in attendance. Kenyon and his teammates channeled their frustration into a dominant performance, keeping a clean sheet as they look to restart their winning run.
