From BTEC Programme to Semi-Professional Football
Tyler’s journey began with us on the 16-18 BTEC programme at Macclesfield FC. His commitment and skills quickly stood out, earning him the opportunity to play for Macclesfield FC’s First Team and other senior men’s teams. These early experiences were key in shaping Tyler into the defender he is today.
UCLan University and Football Education Programme
After completing the BTEC programme, Tyler continued his education and football development with us at UCLan University. Over the past three years, he has been a vital part of our football education programme. His performances and leadership on the field consistently impressed coaches and scouts.
Securing a Contract with AFC Workington
This summer, Tyler’s hard work paid off during the pre-season with AFC Workington. His impressive performances earned him a contract for the 2024/25 season. This marks a significant achievement in his football career and highlights the effectiveness of our football education programmes.
